Big Plans for 2008
The disc golf junkies of Vermont have been scheming and planning over the last few months. There is some major fun in store for 2008, including the first state-wide points series and another event designed to allow Vermont’s best to compete with the best in the World – the 2008 Green Mountain Open. Other things [...]
Time to Vote For President…
…of the GMDGC. Nov 17, 2007 at 5pm the GMDGC will be hosting their annual meeting. Everyone interested in disc golf is welcome to come. Members of the club get to vote on things such as club leadership for the 2008 calendar year and other issues like where the club $$ is spent. This is truly the opportunity to voice your opinion and have it on the record.
The End is Near
Another “official” season of disc golf has been wrapped up in style. The Fall Platter 2007 was held last weekend, setting a new record both for attendance AND for Good Weather. Great Play and a huge amount of fun dominated the day. Results from the tourney have been posted on the EVENTS page . Stay [...]
Fall Platter 2007!!
As expected, Mother Nature is helping make the Fall Platter 2007 another one to forget. Tee time will be around 37 degrees and chance of rain – (which in Waterbury means a nice soaking mist). But the same conditions didn’t prevent 39 folks from coming out and having a blast last year. So come on [...]
In case the Fall Platter isn’t Enough
We have not 1, but 2 Fall disc golf events in the near future. The NCDGA is hosting their annual Fall Foliage Classic this weekend in North Calais. Now pay attention, because I’m only writing this once…
BagTag UPDATE

Consistent with what we did last year we will take the two rounds of disc golf [...]

I know its been a LONG time since the last update – summer has been too full of actual disc golfing to have a chance to write about any of it. So here is a quick summary of the last 3 months. Congrats to everyone who participated in the Sap Bucket Open V and Vermont States – 2 great tournaments were succesfully pulled off again.
Season Opener and Course Clean Up
CENTER CHAINS IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SEASON – The baskets were re-installed last night and we have a beautiful day to start the season with. Please keep in mind that the area is still very wet. Anything you can do to avoid tromping through the very wet areas and let them finish drying out will only improve the state of the course throughout the summer.

Sap Bucket Open V
Sugaring season is here which means its time to get out your Sap Bucket and its time to start thinking about disc golf without snow shoes. And what better a way to start your disc golf summer than with a great disc golf tournament.
