GMDGC @ NEFA Events
GMDGCers are off to a strong start for the ’09 NEFA (New England Flying Disc Association) points series. First, a long over due congratulations to Jim Conroy for chalking up the first win taking down the AM1 division at the Vineyard Social. Chris Young, Loren Thompson, and Matt Idol made the trip to the FDR Fools Fest in Yorktown NY, with Matt Idol just missing the cash. Last weekend 8 GMDGCers made the trip to Ayer, MA for the King of the Hill. After a long day of “Billy Goat Disc Golf”, trees, trees, and more trees, and watching your disc roll past you, Team Vermont did very well. Josh Rappeport took 3rd in Am2, Al Rosa and Gary Stansfield tied for 5th in Am Master with James Beaulieu taking 3rd. Anne Lewis won Pro Women, and Johnny Betts and Dave Frothingham tied for 4th in Pro Open. Congratulations to everyone. Next up: Hyzer Creek, Black Falls III, Maple Hill IV, and the Sap Bucket Open VII.
